In commemoration of September 11, 2001, the annual memorial of the “Tribute in Light” will return for one night. The lights are located at West and Morris Streets in Lower Manhattan. The memorial display creates two sky-piercing columns of light in roughly the spot where the Twin Towers once stood. The lights will be on for one night on September 11, 2011, beginning at sunset and fading away at dawn on September 12th.
